ADVISORY BOARD

The advisory board consists of three internationally renowned scientists with ties to the industrial and public sector. They advise the supervisory board on strategic issues concerning research, training and international collaborations.

Global Harmonization Initiative

GHI is a global organization of food scientists with as goal achieving consensus on the science of food regulations and legislations to ensure the global availability of safe and wholesome food products for all consumers. This includes removing barriers to the use of new technologies that are developed to reduce wasting food and making food safe with minimum loss of nutrients.

Former project leader at Agri-Food & Biosciences Institute; Expert for International Atomic Energy Agency, World Health Organization, Food and Agricultural Organization; past president UK Institute of Food Science and Technology and SfAM.

Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)
Dr. Masami Takeuchi

Food Safety Officer in the Food Systems and Food Safety Division (ESF) of Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). She is primarily responsible for food safety topics related to technologies including risk assessment of certain use of technologies as well as technologies for food safety solutions.
